The children’s book “ABC do Mar”, published in July 2021, was specially commissioned by SOMAR to writer and illustrator Irene Prado to celebrate the Decade of Ocean Science (2021-2030). 

“ABC do Mar” is written in acrostic format and brings the alphabet with information and curiosities about aquatic animals. 

This work is supported by the UNESCO Chair for Ocean Sustainability, which carried out the technical revision of the book.
